Hello, I am Dan Dorsch, a graduate student in mechanical engineering at MIT. My research focuses on machine design and product design. My research is on the design of high performance, clutchless, hybrid transmissions. I have completed a wide variety of hands-on projects and love designing and building. I founded a team that established MakerWorks at MIT. Contact me if you are setting up a makerspace or lab and want to learn about spaces at MIT. I can assist with spaces for a company, university, middle or high school, or a community. I enjoy a variety of hobbies including building personal projects, RC airplanes, exploring the outdoors, and photography.
My Research I am designing clutchless, high performance hybrid transmissions for my PhD research at MIT.
